The Fourth of July not only celebrates the Independence Day of United States, it is a Marlow tradition. Since 1892, Marlow has celebrated Independence Day with all the charms of a hometown festival.
The day begins with an old-fashioned, small town parade stretching six blocks and welcoming classic cars, decorated bicycles, marching bands and horse-drawn wagons.
Then, the fun moves into historic Redbud Park - along the famed Chisholm Trail - with food, games, shopping and a staple of the Old Fashioned Fourth of July, bingo that's still a quarter per card. Music from local bands and singers fills the air while old friends and neighbors get reacquainted. Kids and adults, alike, will enjoy the inflatables! All are welcome, so come on down!
That evening, the free concert begins followed a grand finale of fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
